ISO 50001 · GHG Protocol Scope 1 & 2

Stop reporting carbon
out of a spreadsheet.

Envera turns monthly meter readings into an auditable energy and greenhouse-gas reporting system — performance indicators, Scope 1 and 2 accounting, per-site benchmarking, and a data-quality layer that surfaces what the workbook was hiding.

Every tonne, traced to the meter.

Envera turns monthly meter readings into an auditable energy and greenhouse-gas reporting system — so the number you put in front of the board is the number you can defend, line by line.

The problem

Your reporting system is a spreadsheet. It has been failing quietly.

Energy and carbon reporting in heavy industry overwhelmingly lives in one macro-enabled workbook, maintained by one person. That file holds real intellectual property — calibrated conversion factors, per-site heat contents, a refrigerant inventory at GWP-100. It also carries the failure modes of a spreadsheet.

In the spreadsheet
In Envera

Figures rounded to 2 decimal places before being summed, compounding the error into every total.

Full double precision end to end. Formatting happens only at the point of display.

Division by zero renders as #NUM! and stops there.

Flagged as a data-quality finding, with the site, the month and the probable cause.

Metered quantities silently excluded from headline totals.

A coverage panel naming every exclusion and its materiality.

One person's laptop, one file, credentials sitting in the macro.

A web application on a read-only connection. No credentials in client code.

“Which slicer state produced this number?”

Every figure is a URL.

The product

One dataset. Thirteen ways to interrogate it.

The same meter readings and the same conversion factors you already trust — rebuilt as a system that can be questioned, audited and linked to.

Overview

Headline performance indicators against a configurable baseline year — energy, GHG, specific consumption, carbon footprint, flare, generation efficiency.

Energy

Consumption by source and by end use over time, normalised to kWh using the site heat contents of record.

Emissions

Scope 1 decomposed by pathway — fuel gas, flaring, diesel, gasoline, methane, process CO₂, SF₆/NF₃, refrigerants — and Scope 2 at each year's published grid factor.

Sites

Portfolio benchmarking, with producing and non-producing locations separated so intensity is never shown against an absent denominator.

Energy flow

A Sankey of fuel to end use on a common kWh basis — where the energy actually goes, not where the budget says it went.

Analysis

Best and worst performing months and sites across seven indicators, plus a trend for any of ten indicators, per site or portfolio-wide.

Decarbonisation

Progress against a reference year on the indicators that actually move carbon, with cumulative emissions set beside the same months of that reference.

Reports

The monthly performance report and the detailed monthly and yearly reports — reproduced from the source of record and printable to PDF.

Data & quality

Coverage, exclusions, ETL normalisations and automated defect detection — the two things the spreadsheet was hiding, made explicit.

Plus Costs, Impact, Sources, a Methodology module where every conversion factor and GWP is read from the database rather than hard-coded, and full-precision CSV export for any selection.

Auditability

Every figure is a URL.

No slicer state to reconstruct, no “which version of the file was this?”. Any number in Envera — a site, a month, a baseline, an indicator — has an address. Send the address, and the person opening it sees exactly what you saw.

Which is also what makes an audit survivable: the reviewer re-runs the link, not your memory.

Migration

No migration is believed until the old numbers survive it.

Envera is seeded from a read-only extract of your workbook. The source file is never modified and the production instance is never contacted. Then every historical figure is reproduced and reconciled against the original — and where the two disagree, we show you why the spreadsheet was wrong.

01 · EXTRACT

An offline, read-only copy of the workbook. Your file stays exactly where it is, untouched.

02 · RECONCILE

Every month, every site, every indicator recomputed and set against the original figure to the last decimal.

03 · EXPLAIN

Each difference is traced to its cause — rounding, an exclusion, a stale factor — and signed off before go-live.

Pricing

Priced per site, not per seat.

Your whole organisation should be looking at the same numbers. Charging for that by the head is how you end up back in a spreadsheet.

Talk to us

Annual billing. Migration and reconciliation of your existing workbook is included in every plan — it is the part that makes the rest trustworthy, so it is not an upsell.

Run it against your actual data.

Send us one month of readings from one site. We will show you what your current report says, what it should say, and the difference between them.
